Please join the City of Austin on Wednesday, April 19 from 6-9pm at City Hall for a CodeNEXT double feature: a Community Character Code Talk, followed by the release of the draft zoning map.
Our second of 5 Code Talks is about Character. Come learn about how the draft code addresses community character through the exploration of diverse viewpoints and trade-offs. The event will run from 6-7pm and will include a presentation from code writers, a panel discussion from community experts, and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
Following the code talk will be the public release of the CodeNEXT draft map from 7:15-9pm. The draft map will show how the zones found in the draft code are applied throughout Austin. A presentation by staff and consultants will be made, and the Land Development Code Advisory Group (CAG) will be provided the opportunity to ask questions about the map.
